Located in Lincolnshire, 18 miles northwest of Lincoln and 18 miles southwest of Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, Gainsborough has an estimated population of 21,908. The town is renowned for its old market town, and historical attraction of Gainsborough Old Hall situated on the banks of the River Trent.

The town is now seeking to grow its population base to support a greater range of services, employment opportunities and a vibrant town centre.
The West Lindsey Council have secured land to build a 4-screen cinema, two retail units, a restaurant, and additional parking will be built. The exciting plans for the town are being realised thanks to the Council’s £18 million Levelling up Programme to create a Thriving Gainsborough providing plenty to see and do when visiting.
